On June 27, 1947 an American pilot witnessed a group of strange objects in the sky. He described them as moving "like saucers skipping across the water." From this report an anonymous journalist invented the term "flying saucer," later to be adapted by Captain Ed Ruppelt, the USAF intelligence officer responsible for such matters to the more familiar U.F.O. In the more than four decades since, the U.F.O. mystery has gone through many phases, and now in The U.F.O. Conspiracy all the facts, accumulated evidence, and major revelations are available to the public in one volume. The source: the official case files of the nations of the world.
